We wanted to give you an update on our puppy Moose (originally Brad from Minnie's litter). He's been a wonderful addition to our family. He's sweet, playful, adventurous and smart. He loves the snow, water, hiking, children and other dogs. He now weighs about 40lbs. He's really been a great dog so far.

You may remember me from a couple years ago. We drove from Pittsburgh area to pick between Emma and Eva. My 2 kids and small Chihuahua came along to help decide. Emma was our pick. We weren’t sure it was going to work and you graciously extended the offer to bring her back if it was too much on our Chihuahua - well I must say, Emma is the best dog ever. We kept the name you daughters gave her, it fit her well. She is now 2 yrs old and sticks to my side. I love her dearly. She’s beautiful, sweet, playful and loves to eat!!
Below are pictures of her on her 2nd Bday April 23, 2020. Thank you for putting so much love into your litters. It shows in the puppies. She thinks she’s a lap dog! 🥰 She’s such a wonderful soul. Again thank you for the love you put into you puppies and their mommies and daddies.

Chloe

Chloe has been an amazing addition to our family. She is super smart and has been very easy to train so far. She has already learned several commands. Within the first week, she was letting us know when she needed to go outside. It did not take long for her to be potty trained.
She is also very playful, which is great since we have two young girls. She loves to play fetch and chew on her toys. She is very friendly as well. She loves meeting new people when we take her on walks. They always comment about how beautiful she is.
Paul was extremely nice and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Backroad Family Puppies.

"Cupcake"! My 4-year-old granddaughter named her. She has very active times when she chews on toys and loves running as fast as she can around her fenced in yard. Then she snuggles close to me to take a nap. At night she sleeps in a crate next to my bed. She still needs to get up 2 times at night to go outside. In 4 days she has stopped nipping, sits on command, goes to the door to let me know she wants outside, goes potty when I say, "Hurry up" and is beginning to come when I call her name. I love this little puppy! I greatly like and respect everyone connected to Backroad Family Puppies!

They both traveled great! Working on potty training and getting them comfortable with being on a leash when outside. They don't wander too far from each other yet but seem very content in their new surroundings.

6 month update -
Remy (Beth) 21 lbs. She is pretty petite in size, very energetic and wants to be part of anything anyone is doing. Very loving and more of the protector.
Indie (Carrie) 30 lbs. She's a big girl and has grown rapidly. Laid back, so sweet and loves to cuddle. More of a people person as she loves meeting new people and more personality.
They love car rides, the lake, ice cubes and long walks.
We crate trained them and they were completely potty trained right at 6 months. Glad we got them both as they are inseparable and entertain each other. We constantly get comments about how cute they are.
